't Lansink is a monumental Hotel & Restaurant (1916), with 25 rooms, a classic Dutch-French restaurant (with Michelin star since 2013), a unique chef's table, a modern lounge/bar with terraces and a shady garden. 't Lansink is located in the historic and best-preserved garden village of the Netherlands, within walking distance of the centre of Hengelo. 't Lansink has a good mix of business and leisure guests who want to enjoy a carefree day, weekend or week away.
The team
Together with the young and enthusiastic team, we strive daily for top quality within a healthy company. 7 days a week SVH Masterchef Lars van Galen and his team receive guests for lunch and/or dinner. Our team consists of 15 professionals who are ready to serve our guests every day. Together they bring out the best in themselves. We also offer students the opportunity to learn the trade from the SVH Master or the professionals in the black brigade.

Are you a natural leader with a passion for hospitality?
At Hotel 't Lansink, everything revolves around personal attention, quality, and experience. For our front office, we are looking for a Head Receptionist who will manage the team with energy, overview, and professionalism and give our guests a warm welcome.
As Head of Reception, you are responsible for ensuring that all front office activities run smoothly. You are the point of contact for both guests and colleagues and ensure that service is taken to a higher level.
Your responsibilities:

Daily management of the reception team

Coaching, guiding, and motivating employees

Optimizing work processes and service quality

Responsible for reservations, room planning, and occupancy rates

Professional handling of questions, requests, and complaints

Actively contributing to commercial objectives (upselling & guest relations)

Close cooperation with housekeeping and restaurant
Who are we looking for?

You have at least several years of experience in the hotel industry.

You have leadership qualities and take responsibility.

You have strong organizational skills and maintain an overview.

You are presentable, guest-oriented, and have good communication skills.

You speak Dutch and English fluently.

Operation
Vacancy Assistant Maître
For Restaurant 't Lansink in Hengelo, we are looking for an Assistant Maître with an eye for detail and a sense of hospitality. In this position, you will support the maître d' in the daily management of the service team. You will monitor quality on the floor, ensure a pleasant pace during service, and be a visible point of contact for both guests and colleagues. Together, you will ensure a well-organized, relaxed, and professional guest experience.
